SCAD Museum Concepts

Concept designs inspired by exhibits at the SCAD Museum of Art. Inspired by Awol Erizku's X, which explores the life of Malcom X. I was inspired by an image depicting Malcom X and a woman with boxing gloves. X is wearing a zoot suit, recognized through the broad shouldered drape jacket and the balloon trousers. It is often paired with a 1940s French style shoe called a Spectator's Oxford. I also pulled from another piece in the collection of an LED hand holding a rose. I used this piece in tandem with inspiration from Schiaparelli.
